Clubs

The Eco-club is entirely dedicated to recycling and reusing paper, plastics, and other materials. By adopting an ethos of conservation of natural resources, children develop observation, experimentation, and survey skills needed for conserving the environment.

By reusing old cartons of cardboard and paper to make pencil boxes, wall decor, greeting cards, and paper pouches they imbibe a sustainable lifestyle.

Quiz Club is a coterie of students who keep themselves abreast of times by discussing current affairs and news headlines with each other. Club members participate, prepare and host quizzes on various topics.

The objective of this club is to foster a quest for knowledge and sharpen mental and reasoning skills while promoting group harmony. The discussions revolve around

The Literary club shares a mutual love for language and literature. It provides a platform for students who are interested in writing and debating. Club members meet to discuss books, poetries, and essays and review various works of literature. This helps them to analyse and critique each other’s writings as well.

They also play scrabble and word-building games to improve vocabulary and communication skills.

Social Justice Club is a forum for learning about social issues through Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 12). The students connect relevant social affairs and tie them with sustainability. They raise awareness about human rights and speak against their violation, they explore anti-caste and anti-sexist works of literature and participate in group discussions, debates, and street plays. The main objective is to contribute to society through volunteering and spreading awareness.

Cooking Club explores various cuisines across the globe and encourages students to inquire about cultures and how geography influences food habits. They understand the importance of a healthy and balanced diet and spread awareness about food wastage by preparing nutritional recipes. The students learn innovative ways to prepare meals and hone their skills, this helps them to explore their senses and gain a sense of accomplishment when they prepare a delicious snack!

The Techno Club explores recent advances in tech, AI, and gadgets. By exploring various parts of a gadget, the club learns STEM skills and abstract concepts in the area of science and technology. The students develop creative and digital skills that become an engine for innovation
